And when the whole modeling gig gets old, and you're desperately hungry, there's always your foot to nosh on—or at least Adelyn seems to think it's a pretty great idea.

Easter Cuteness

Ok, nobody is allowed to be that cute, but alas, my darling niece Adelyn Grace is. I'm soo glad that her Mommy and Daddy, my illustrious sister Lindsey and her fab hubby Shayne, decided it was time for a new photo shoot, just in time for Easter.

I can't believe how much she's growing...she's just over 8 months old now (and almost standing all by herself). I think a trip to Colorado needs to happen—and soon.

@ Six Months

 Here are the top five things I've learned this weekend from hanging with the lovely Adelyn Grace McCormick this weekend:

5)Putting a pillow on your head, preferably one with fringe-y things hanging from it, will elicit a serious giggle fit.

4)Olive Garden is NOT Adelyn's favorite place for lunch. She projectile vomited not once, but twice over the course of soup, salad and breadsticks.

3)If you have a bottle of Dasani in your hand, you must share it with her. Otherwise, she's not a happy camper (and that's putting it mildly).

2)While she has no idea what Katy Perry was singing about at the Grammy Awards (thankfully!), Adelyn thinks it's pretty good bum-shaking music.

1)When in doubt, give her to Mommy (or at least have her nearby). No matter what Lindsey is doing—taking out the trash, brushing her hair or talking on her cell, Adelyn wants to watch. She'll follow her with her eyes, no matter where she's going. And like most things Adelyn does, it's downright adorable.

**Today also marks a really special day in the McCormick family as Shayne is coming home from Iraq for good. It'll be only the second time he's been able to hang out with his baby girl, so as you can imagine, Lindsey, Shayne and Adelyn are thrilled to be reunited. :)

Growing Up is Cute to Do!

I've behaved as well as an aunt can with a super adorable niece and have tried not to post a million cutie-patootie pics of Adelyn on my blog. But when I came across this one, I simply couldn't resist.

I can't believe how fast she's growing...Lindsey says she's even making cute little sounds and laughing all the time now. Apparently, Adelyn is also a big fan of the mall, which means if there was ever any doubt we're related, well...

I can't wait to go shopping with her and Linds in a couple of weeks (and see what she's going to be for Halloween).

Happy Birthday, Adelyn!

One month ago, my gorgeous niece, Adelyn Grace McCormick was born, so I thought I'd commemorate that with a blog entry. This is a pic we took last weekend. My mom, Lindsey and Adelyn were in town for Katrina's wedding (congrats again, Katrina and Josh), so I got to spend all sorts of quality time with my niece.

And when I say quality, I mean quality. We had projectile vomiting of formula, the changing of steaming poo diapers, feedings and all kinds of laughs. It was a good, good time, and I can't believe how much she's grown already.

I love being an auntie, can't you tell?
