Since the weather has been downright frightful pretty much everywhere these days (well, unless you call sunny Los Angeles or Miami home, mind you), there's probably no better escape from the chill than cozying up with a good book.
Well, a beach vacation might be nice, but when that's not in the cards, reading is my go-to. Add in a caramel macchiato or two, and I'm pretty much set for a staycation.
But if you're like me, and always on the lookout for something new to read, I've got a suggestion...Tiffany Romigh's terrific new YA title, Deferred.
The story of a 17-year-old girl with a pretty rockin' name, Mezzanine, it's a relatable, funny and memorable story of self-discovery as the once-sheltered Southern protagonist finally starts making her own life decisions.
Sound like something you'd like to read? Well, thanks Tiffany's generosity, I've got two copies to give away. All you have to do is leave a comment here by Friday, January 31st with the name of your favorite escapist read of all time, and I'll pick two winners.
And in the meantime, stay warm...especially you Midwesterners.
Hmmm...just what I need, another book to read, LOL!!!
