To celebrate the DVD release of The Blind Side, I am giving away copies to two lucky movie fans (thanks to Warner Bros.) who leave a comment after this post.
Just to make sure we give everyone a fair shot, I will announce the winners on my blog on Thursday, April 1 (no, that's not an April Fool's joke), so good luck to all!!
To be honest, when I saw the trailers for this movie, I thought Sandra Bullock's accent was horrible. I thought this movie was going to be a flop. Well I got proven wrong. I still haven't seen it yet but I mainly want to see it now bc a) if Sandra is really better than Meryl in Julie and Julie and b) did it really deserve Best picture nomination?

When I saw the trailer for this movie I wanted to see it was because it is a football movie. Then I saw the movie and realized it is so much more. This is an amazing movie showing the true compassion that people can have. It also showed that anything is possible if you work hard enough for it. This is by far one of my favorites.

Being third is just fine, Katja! It's not the first two people who win...I'll have a very fair and scientific way of choosing the winners, I promise. :)

Would be awesome to win this since I am still catching up from unemployment. Loved this movie!

This was a great movie. Sandra Bullock turned the part down at first. It was after she met the woman in the story that she reconsidered. If you haven't seen it, watch it. Great story.

I'm just here to give you kudos for such a great blog marketing incentive... way to go, Christa! Now, if you want to give me the DVD, I will send a beautiful handmade card to Sandra telling her to kick that twisted idiot/pervert of a husband to the curb and don't look back 'cause she's worthy of so much more than that!

Heck yeah, I'd take a free copy of this. But if I don't win we'll probably end up buying it anyway. :)

That's an awesome movie! It's one of the best I've seen in a long time, and I've told all my friends they need to see it. While the writers could easily have gotten caught up in over-the-top stereotypes or blown the drama way out of proportion, I thought they did a great job of letting the story tell itself.

I liked it. I thought it was both funny and heartwarming. It made you laugh and cry at the same time.

The Blind Side is one of the best movies I've seen in years. I wish there were more shows like it.

I saw this movie in theaters, and I LOVED it! My dad went with me, and it was like we saw two different movies. He was all caught up in the official football part of the story, and I enjoyed the emotional side. :) Gotta love a movie that makes us both happy!

I love winning. My roomie, Sarah, does adoptions for the county, so I'd love to win this movie for her. Plus, who doesn't love Sandra Bullock?:)
Thanks for the giveaway, Christa!
