My Internet Stalker

So I have an Internet stalker of sorts...thankfully, it's not an actual stalker like the one Paula Abdul had recently. Or someone equally creepy like Sarah McLachlan sang about in her song "Possession," thank goodness.

But when I was googling to find a few more reviews of Around the World in 80 Dates and Blessed Are the Meddlers, I came across this site called Day Life that chronicles all of the movie reviews and features I write, along with a few of my music-related items as well. It's by no means a comprehensive list, but it does a pretty good job of tracking what I write online in a timely manner.

While definitely an informative resource, what really cracked me up were the "words associated with Christa A. Banister" section...

Actor is the first one, which totally makes sense given that I write movie reviews. But "alcohol, angus, Annie and Ben?" First off, I have no idea who Annie and Ben are. And angus? Are they talking about the variety of beef or some guy with a really unfortunate first name? Either way, I'm not sure what it has to do with me.

There's another column that cites "frequently mentioned topics." In case you wanted to know what topic I supposedly mention the most in my online writing, apparently, it's Kate Hudson, the No. 1 entry on the list. While I've got no problem with Ms. Hudson (I mean How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days was pretty funny, and she wasn't so bad in Almost Famous), it still made me laugh since I'm not really on the Hudson beat.

So there you have it...the full analysis on my Internet stalker. By the way if you google search the image section for a JPG of an Internet stalker, this is the first image (left) that comes up. For the record, the troll part made me laugh the hardest...
