I left most of the picture taking to Will on our recent European adventure (and yes, a slew of photos are TK on Facebook...still sorting through them), but I couldn't resist taking a shot of this particular basket of bread in Paris.
No herbs, no cheese, they just served it with lots of unsalted butter. And really, that's all it needed because it was absolutely light and delicious—especially the crust which had surprisingly good flavor (something I can't say for most bread).
In a word: Mmmm.
