It's no secret that I absolutely love to read, but these days, the time to actually curl up with a good book has been, well, severely limited. I think I'll blame the holidays for that. Or an abundance of writing deadlines, take your pick.
But once reading works it way back into my schedule (and I think it will soon...hurrah), here are the 10 books that are next in my queue (or more precisely, the bookshelf in my office) in no particular order.
*The Love Goddess' Cooking School by Melissa Senate
*The Impressionists by Tom Rachman
*Mentor by Tom Grimes
*Promises to Keep by Jane Green
*The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe by J. Randy Taraborrelli
*Fifth Avenue, 5 a.m. by Sam Wasson
*Columbine by Dave Cullen
*How to Talk to Girls About Duran Duran by Rob Sheffield
*An Object of Beauty by Steve Martin
Ok, so there's what makes the penultimate list on my blog...what's next for you, reading-wise? Any suggestions for what I should be checking out in 2011? It's never to late to add to my Christmas wish list, after all, and my birthday's right around the corner...
